FAQ #1: What is Colon Hydrotherapy?
Colon hydrotherapy, also known as colon cleansing or colonics, is a gentle and time-honored wellness practice that dates back to ancient Egypt and Greece. It involves the safe infusion of warm, purified water into the colon to help loosen and remove accumulated waste, supporting the body’s natural detoxification process.
At Cleanse & Nourish, we use a closed system and disposable materials each time for ultimate safety and comfort. By promoting better digestion, improved nutrient absorption, and a renewed sense of vitality, colon hydrotherapy can help you feel lighter, more balanced, and refreshed from within.

#2:Who is eligible for Colon Hydrotherapy?
Most adults from the ages of 18-65 are eligible for colonics, unless contraindicated due to a serious illness listed on your health questionnaire during registration. These include but are not limited to kidney failure, cirrhosis of the liver and congestive heart failure.

#3: How is the process of getting a colonic?
At your colonic visit, your hydrotherapist will give a brief rundown on what the process of introducing warm water into your colon will look like using a visual aid. You'll be able to see the professional closed-system equipment as well as the sealed disposable speculum kit for your use only! Throughout the session, you'll be able to observe your progress and follow along. We pride ourselves in transparency to ensure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

#4 How often should I be getting follow-up colonics?
Every individual's health levels are different, so that would depend on our observations throughout your sessions and your overall health goals.
Recommended packages can be scheduled for as many as three sessions in a week, weekly sessions, once a month or quarterly for maintenance.
Please consult your medical doctor for advice if you need help deciding what package is best for you.

#5 Do I have to make an appointment or do you do walk-ins?
Sessions are by appointment only! Ensure to fill out the appropriate intake forms prior to your visit for a smooth process.

#6 Is there a parking lot?
No, there is street parking only so please plan accordingly.
